ATMEL! Due to popular demand, we've now added the first two
Atmels to the list of supported devices: the Atmel AT89S8252 and the Atmel AT8755WD. You can now program
for and simulate these devices within Pinnacle. These features are offered in the newest version of
Pinnacle, v1.120.
FAST! Pinnacle
now assembles programs nearly three times as fast as previous versions of Pinnacle. It also supports
a simulated SPI bus, along with the Max147 A/D converter.
It also supports a simulated I2C bus, the Dallas DS1307 RTC, Dallas DS1803 Dual Pot,
and Microchip 24LC164 Serial EEPROM. This means you can simulate I2C
communications within Pinnacle!
Pinnacle also supports Philips P89C51RD+ with Programmable Counter Arrray (PCA).
This is in addition to the Dallas 80C310, 80C320, 80C520 and 80C530,
along with the Standard 8051, and Standard 8052 which were already
supported.
More derivative chips and features are coming soon!
