BENEFITS OF PURCHASING CIMA WT

The benefits of purchasing CimaWT are the following:

Sunrise/Sunset: The sunrise/sunset calculation for cities is only available to those who purchase the full version of CimaWT.
No Welcome/Nag Screens: The purchased version of CimaWT will run without presenting you with the CimaWT "welcome screen" every time you launch the application. Further, the nag screens that periodically appear when using the application will no longer appear.
Free Upgrades: You will be able to use, for no upgrade fee, all new versions of CimaWT that are released for at least a year from the date of your purchase (what happens after 1 year? See below).
Updated Traveler Advisories: As a registered user you will have access to weekly updates of the travel advisory database for at least a year from the date of your purchase (what happens after 1 year? See below).
First Chance Access to New Versions: When a new version of CimaWT is to be released, it will always be made available first to registered users before being made available to the general public for at least the year following the date of purchase (what happens after 1 year? See below).

WHERE TO PURCHASE CIMA WT

You may purchase Cima WT online here at Vault Information Services on the order page using your Visa or Mastercard. Most orders are processed within one business day.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE WHEN YOU PURCHASE CIMA WT

When you purchase Cima WT you will receive an electronic mail from VIS with a username and password along with instructions concerning how to enter this information in CimaWT. Once you've entered this information, CimaWT will immediately be completely "unlocked" and be fully functional. We will not send you a physical disk--the software you already have is all you need, along with the username and password that we will send you via email.

ONGOING BENEFITS OF PURCHASING CIMA WT

When purchasing CimaWT, you are a "registered user" for at least one year. While you are a registered user you will receive the following benefits:

Free Upgrades: Continued no-upgrade-fee access to any new versions of CimaWT that are released while you are a registered user..

Updated Traveler Advisories: Continued access to updated traveler advisory databases with the latest advisories from the State Department.

First Chance Access to New Versions: Continued access to new versions of CimaWT before they are released to the general public.

At this time, we do not plan to charge for this service once you are registered. That is, these services are a benefit included in your registration.

However, since these are ongoing services that require an ongoing effort on the part of VIS to provide, distribute, and handle bandwidth, it's not impossible that after one year VIS may choose to charge those that wish to continue to receive these services.

Again, we stress that we do not plan to charge for these services, but we will not completely rule it out. Changing economic conditions and the volume of users utilizing the weekly updates (i.e. utilizing bandwidth) may force us to charge in the future, but it is our hope that this will not be necessary. Even if we decide in the future to charge for these services, registered users will receive these services without charge for at least a year.

That said, VIS and the author of CimaWT author are under no obligation to provide these services at all. VIS and the author may provide these updates on an ongoing basis. However, neither VIS nor the CimaWT are required to do so and may stop issuing updates at any time for any reason regardless of whether or not anyone has purchased the software in the last year. When purchasing CimaWT, please assume you are purchasing what you already have installed on your Palm-connected device. While we do plan to continue supporting and improving this product, we are under no obligation to do so and you should not base your purchase decision based on any expectaction of future upgrades, etc.
